CUSTOM FRAMING OPTIONS
No mat – Dry mounted print with frame, and glass.
Single mat – Dry mounted or hinged print with one mat, frame, and glass.
Double mat – Dry mounted or hinged prints with two mats, frame, and glass.
Prints framed with mats and glass are either posters which are normally dry mounted so they don’t warp or limited edition prints which are hinged with acid free tape or corners to preserve their, mint condition.
Any number of mats can be added for effect.
Linen or silk liner – A liner normally is used with an original canvas where a colored border is desired, but glass is not going to be used.
Fillet – A fillet can be used with a frame, liner, or a mat to create an accent or border.
Museum wrap – A canvas painting or print can be wrapped on a frame called a stretcher bar, like a drum. The image is normally wrapped around the stretcher bar. This treatment can be hung with or without a frame.
Gallery wrap – A canvas painting or print can be wrapped on a deep frame called a stretcher bar, like a drum. The image is wrapped around the stretcher bar. This treatment is normally hung without a frame.
We offer several alternatives for custom framing. From the basic frame to the elegant, we have so many choices.
